Abstract
The aim of this paper is to give one example how you can introduce ODL in an organisation and to change the focus from face-to-face classroom-bound education to ODL.
Since 2007 more than 2000 managers from the Swedish Police have graduated from the Linnaeus University. In this paper we will discuss the usefulness of ODL in the process of implementing a new perspective on management and to spread the core of value in the organisation. We will also discuss the key success factors of the program and how the acceptance for ODL has increased within the Swedish Police.
