Abstract
Abstract-- This paper has three parts. Part One provides a note on how I use the two concepts of runaway development (RAD) and value-added development (VAD). Through a case study I have discussed in Part Two one small way of value addition to education sector of development process for bringing the people on periphery in its orbit. In Part Three, I show how innovative participatory approaches to open and distance learning (ODL) make a qualitative difference to learning process and simultaneously contribute to inclusive development paradigm.
